DESCRIPTION
"The Peacock Within" is a comedy, thriller, noir short film about a young man named Charlie, who is about to walk in for a job interview. He is practicing his speech in the hallway, practically on the point of a panic attack, another man walks in to challenge him. Charlie has to find the courage and belief in himself to walk out of this with the job.
PROCESS
This is the very first short film I have created at SCAD and it was a blast. The prompt was to create a story with one setting, two characters, in under three pages. With a cast and crew from my film class, we filmed the short film with a time limit of four hours. It is a project I am very proud of and making this helped me find out my filmmaking style. Strengths of the film are the use of color, the cinematic shots, and the efficient runtime.
