THE THIRTY MINUTE ODYSSEY
DESCRIPTION
"The Thirty Minute Odyssey" is a comedy, adventure, noir short film about a kid named Josh, who sneaks out after he gets grounded. However, his grand night out is interrupted when he finds out his mom is going to be home earlier than he realized. Racing against the clock, Josh has to figure out how to get across town before his mom realizes he snuck out, running into weird characters and crazy situations on the way back.
PROCESS
Created as a senior capstone project for my media class in high school, this film was my most ambitious project yet. Focusing on more engaging writing and cinematic looks, the whole product was a lot of work but so worth it in the end. The incredible professional crew I had made this experience the best project I've ever worked on and my favorite film I've created yet. Some strengths with the film is the cinematic looks with the use of vibrant colors and cool slo-motion shots.
